10. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
11. Mobile Application (Android)
The FindTenders Android application is a Trusted Web Activity (TWA) that renders the same Website content within a chromeless shell. The data we collect through the app is identical to what we collect through the Website, with the following app-specific considerations:
- Device identifiers: Google Play assigns each install a per-app advertising / install ID. We do not collect or store this identifier; Google's own analytics on Play Console may use it for aggregate install / uninstall metrics.
- Push notifications: If you opt in, we send alerts about new matching tenders using the Web Push standard. Your browser or device creates a push subscription (on Android, deliveries are routed through Google's push service), which is stored against your account and is deleted when you disable notifications, sign out, or uninstall the app.
- Location: The app may request location permission to surface tenders near you. Permission is optional; denying it has no effect on app functionality beyond the "near me" convenience filter. Location is processed on-device when used; we do not store coarse or precise location after a search completes.
- Data shared with Google: Crash reports and basic install metrics flow to Google Play Console under Google's own privacy terms. We do not share user-level app behaviour with Google or any other third party for advertising purposes.
- Account deletion: Uninstalling the app does not delete your FindTenders account. To delete your account and all associated data, sign in, visit Profile and use the "Delete Account" option, or email support@findtenders.in. Account-level deletion fulfils Google Play's Data Safety deletion requirement.
- App permissions: The Android manifest declares only INTERNET (required) and POST_NOTIFICATIONS (optional, for alerts). We do not request contacts, SMS, camera, microphone, or device storage access.
For users in the European Economic Area, the legal basis for app data processing is identical to the Website: contractual necessity for account features, legitimate interest for analytics, and consent for push notifications and optional location.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Disclaimer of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm — whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal data, any failure or delay in data deletion, or any breach of security despite our reasonable efforts. Your use of the Website and submission of personal information is entirely at your own risk.
